What’s Macleaya Cordata Extract?
Macleaya cordata, also referred to as plume poppy, its extract contains rich of flavonoid, sanguinarine and chelerythrine and is used as a veterinary drug, animal feed additive, disinfectant etc. Pink plume poppy extract has a strong antibacterial effect and broad antibacterial spectrum and has an antibacterial activity to coccus, bacillus, gram-positive and negative bacteria, and it has a stronger antibacterial activity to some bacteria than the commonly used berberine hydrochloride and penicillin.
